While Kosovo has been enacting several tobacco control policies over the years, recent data has shown smoking prevalence in the country remains high at more than 40%.

 

Our research found that a 25% price increase on cigarettes would reduce consumption by 11.1% overall while also increasing revenue collected from tobacco products by 26.2%
